STOP MOTION

I absolutely loved Tony Donoghue’s 'Irish Folk Furniture' which won the best short animation at the Sundance Film Festival.

Inspired by this I wanted to try my hand at making a realy short stop motion clip.
Obviously I am only learning,  but I photographed the development of a drawing and turned it into a short moving image.

 

 

recollect Exhibition

Our end of year exhibition was a fantastic success. We had a huge turnout and I was extremely happy with all the feedback I recieved on my work. I also sold a print which is always a bonus.
I was delighted to have an installation resembling a workshop area. My video was on a loop play. I had a pen and ink and an etching on display and all my turned objects. Also, there was a memory box for people to rummage through. PEN AND INK DRAWINGS

DARK ROOM

Experimenting in the dark room was fun. Learning how to develope film role was really good and something I want to do more of next year.

Ive been taking images using my Canon 450D and also experimenting with my Lomography cameras.
